Herend Figurines and Herend China

Herend, founded in 1839, is one of the oldest porcelain manufacturers in Hungary. Their hand molded and hand painted painted dishes and figurines are known throughout the world and owned by the Queen of England and other wealthy and famous people and has also appeared in museum collections.

What truly impresses me, however, is not the company's history, it's the beauty of the pieces they produced today. Whether you're interested in a full set of china, a few serving pieces, a vase, or a small figurine, the workmanship, bright colors, and incredibly detailed painting will impress you. A Herend figurine would make a wonderful souvenir or gift to bring back.

Prices in Hungary are cheaper than abroad, but check before you go so that you know exactly what to expect.
