Rome Sights

Traveling in Rome can in some ways be tough - there are so many sights to see and the tour guides just list them all, making it hard to know which to see first.  I've put together a list of the top sights you should see on your trip to Rome

No amount of time is enough to see all that Rome has to offer. I recommend a week for a first visit, but you can hit all the top sights in 3-4 days if that's all the time you have.

  1. Pantheon

  2. Coliseum

  3. Vatican, Michelangelo's Pieta and the Sistine Chapel

  4. Roman Forum. Take a good book with you and your imagination. What remains of the forum is a sight to see, but a lot of it is in bits and pieces.

  5. Palatine Hill. There are superb views of the city, the Coliseum, and the Forum here, as well as interesting remains from the palaces of emperors.

  6. Spanish Steps and shopping on Via Condotti

  7. Trevi Fountain

  8. Strolling around Campo de' Fiore

  9. Borgese gardens and museum

  10. Piazza Navona
