San Diego Golf

With its year round good weather, San Diego is a wonderful golf destination. It is also the site of some of the country's most important golf tournaments, including the Buick Invitational (at Torrey Pines) and the Accenture Match Play Championship (at La Costa). The US Open will be held at Torrey Pines in 2008.

As a tourist, there are a number of great options for getting in a game or two!

Torrey Pines Golf Course
Offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Torrey Pines is recognized as one of the country's premiere municipal golf courses.  It has two 18 hole golf courses.  The adjacent Torrey Pines Resort offers spa and golf packages.  Expert instruction is also available.

Redhawk Golf Course
Rated the 7th best of California's public golf courses, Redhawk is a bit out of town, but a wonderful and affordable place to play

Maderas Golf Course
Rated the #1 golf course in San Diego County by Zagat for several years in a row, Maderas is located in beautiful inland hill country of San Diego.  The driving range has all grass tees, and a wide variety of lesson packages are available.
