Big Island Resorts, Hotels and Bed & Breakfasts

Hawaiian Oasis Bed and Breakfast
Located in Kailua-Kona, this secluded private estate is close to some of the island's best restaurants and activities.  Located on two tropical acres, there's plenty to explore (and all the tropical fruit you can eat, fresh from the tree) and all the amenities you would expect from a larger place (a pool, hot tub, tennis court and more)

Mauna Lani
The Mauna Lani resort, set on the Kohala Sun Coast, has something for everyone.  With hotel rooms, bungalows and villas, you'll be able to decide how much privacy and service you need.  There's also a kids club, spa, and 2 world class golf courses.

Four Seasons Hualalai Kona
This secluded oasis on the Kona-Kohala coast offers a private Jack Nicklaus golf course along with all the other amenities you would expect from a Four Seasons resort.  Standard guest rooms all feature a spacious sleeping and sitting area.

Questions and Answers

which side of the Big Island is better - Hilo or Kona? Thank you

It depends what whether and setting you like better... the Kona side is dry and almost desert like, and you can expect most days to be sunny. The Hilo side is lush, green and tropical. You can expect to have some rain almost every day.

I was traveling along around Hilo and stopped at a little shop. I saw some beautiful hawaiian dinner plates with flowers on them. I did not purchase them and now I would love to. Does anyone know the store or store's website?

how do i find out about surf board rentals on big island?
